Individual Psychotherapy
Sometimes life just stops making sense.
You’re going through the motions, showing up where you’re supposed to — but something’s off. Maybe you’re stuck in patterns you can’t shake, feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself.
Individual psychotherapy is a space to sit with someone who’s trained to help you sort through all that.
It’s not about being “broken.” It’s about being human — and wanting to grow, heal, and feel more whole again.
How Individual Therapy Works with Me
In our work together, you’ll talk. I’ll listen — really listen — and help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
Together, we’ll unpack old patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build better ways of responding to life.
This isn’t cookie-cutter therapy. I draw from psychodynamic work, cognitive behavioral techniques, and coaching-style tools, depending on what feels right for you.
Whether we work in person or by video conference, you’ll know that you have a safe space to work through your issues. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest, even if you’re not sure where to begin.

Therapy for People Having Trouble in Their Careers
If you’re struggling with your job — feeling stuck, lost, burned out, or unsure whether you’re on the right path — you’re not alone.
A lot of people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but deeply frustrated on the inside. Career pressure, workplace politics, imposter syndrome, or just plain dissatisfaction can take a serious toll on your mental health.
Therapy can help you:
- Clarify what you really want
- Make decisions with more confidence
- Deal with performance anxiety or burnout
- Navigate difficult work relationships
- Set better boundaries — with others and yourself
Sometimes it’s not about switching jobs — it’s about shifting how you feel in your life.
Support Through Difficult Life Situations
Life throws things at us — illness, loss, divorce, family conflict, identity crises, sudden change. These moments can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, even numb.
Therapy is where you can say, “I don’t know what to do,” and not be judged for it. We’ll sit with the hard stuff, work through it, and find a path forward that feels steady and real — even if the world around you isn’t.
LGBTQ-Affirming Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
I’m proud to offer therapy that’s fully LGBTQ-informed and LGBTQ-friendly — not just in name, but in practice.
Whether you’re working through identity questions, coming out, dealing with family dynamics, navigating relationships, or just want a therapist who gets it without needing a glossary — this is a space where you can be yourself without editing.
You shouldn’t have to spend half your session explaining the basics to feel seen. As your therapist, I’m here to support you, not pathologize you — and to walk alongside you as you explore whatever’s coming up with openness and respect.
What You Can Expect
You’ll find therapy with me to be:
- Warm and collaborative
- Insightful without being overly clinical
- Grounded in real-life tools
- Tailored to your personality, goals, and pace
If we discover that psychiatric medication might be helpful, that’s something I can also evaluate and provide — thoughtfully and without pressure.
If you’re ready to explore how individual psychotherapy could help you feel more connected, more grounded, and more like you again — I’m here.
Let’s talk.
